The Ohlone Greenway is a Class I (fully separated) bicycle and pedestrian path running the full length of El Cerrito, beneath the BART tracks.

Relevance to Richmond Street

Richmond Street runs roughly three blocks east of, and parallel to, the Ohlone Greenway for most of its length. See Richmond Street & Complete Streets for the funding history of bike lanes on that separate, largely redundant corridor.

A separate, newly documented project: an east-west bikeway connecting Ashbury Avenue and the San Francisco Bay Trail via Downtown and the El Cerrito Plaza BART station, planned in collaboration with Public Works.
